Why Choose WorldWide Electric as your Motor?

Two-year iron clad warranty from your date of invoice. This means that if a 1/3 through a 40hp motor fails we just require you to: pop-off the nameplate, mail the nameplate back to us, and we will replace the motor for you with no questions asked. (Does not cover all motor types.)

Stocked standard 56 Frame Motors with a bolt-on-bolt-off removable base.

All motors are stocked with class F insulation. Our competition has class B as their standard insulation.

$15 million dollars in inventory spread across our four warehouses. These warehouses are located in Plainfield, IN; Dallas, TX; Atlanta, GA; and Los Angeles, CA.

All motor groups are mechanically, electrically, and even lock rotor tested by the #1 independent NVLAP laboratory in the world, Advanced Energy in Raleigh, NC.

WorldWide Electric has the best pricing in the US motor marketplace today that will dramatically increase your profit margins.

What are some of the Features and Benefits of WWE Motors?

3 Phase, AC, NEMA, T-Frame EPACT Cast Motors

SKF Premium Quality Bearings on all ratings. Both drive end and opposite drive end. These bearings are oversized in 200hp and up to handle the increased force of overhung loads.

Unicast construction means the entire frame is made from one solid piece of cast iron, as opposed to two piece casting that is welded in the middle - a practice that is becoming more prevalent in the motor industry.

High density, FC200, cast iron frames on all sizes starting at 1hp. This assures rapid heat transfer from the core of the motor into the motor's fins from which point it is dissipated by the motor's fan. Only a select few use this high-density iron which results in longer insulation and bearing life.

Full body length, solid mounting feet, which unfortunately is no longer the industrial standard. Many competitors have little tab like feet that stick out with holes in them. Our body length feet handle vibration better and provide better overall strength.

Shaft up, shaft down, and horizontal mounting with no modifications - 75hp and above come standard with circlip ring on ODE (opposite drive end) to lock rotor in place.

Suitable for 380 volt, 50 Hz applications with no de-rating up to 150hp when 1.0 service factor is acceptable. Higher horsepower and other voltages are reviewed on a case by case by basis. We will provide appropriate nameplates. Many competitors motors can do the same but would have to be upsized to the next higher HP rating in order to maintain hp output.

Motors are inventoried with either ball bearings for direct coupled applications or roller bearings for pulley/sprocket mount applications 100hp and above.

Junction boxes are cast iron and have insulated dust covers designed to keep foreign particles from entry. These covers are cut at an angle to permit ease of wiring and they are convertible from F1 to F2 on most ratings.

V-Ring slingers on all of our T-frame motors from 1 to 500 on both DE (drive end) and ODE (opposite drive end).

Motors are shipped with the utmost care. For example, we provide

-           Solid wooden crates - even on our smallest 1 HP motors

-           Shaft protectors that protect the shafts from nicks and scratches

-           Shaft locks are bolted to the end bell to keep the weight of the shaft and rotor off of the bearing. This prevents the bearings from obtaining flat spots during shipping. These shaft locks are removed before usage.

Nameplates are often said to be the "window of quality" of the motor. If this is true, consider that WorldWide Electric nameplates are:

-           Stainless steel to reduce corrosion

-           Laser etched to provide permanent markings

-           Matte finished to provide non-glare data accusation

Superior Documentation. Every motor we sell has a complete page of performance data information including not only electrical parameters but also bearing numbers, re-greasing information, torques, etc… Additionally, each motor has a certified dimension sheet. These items come on a hard copy or in a CD - CAD 14 version. In these days, when motors are sources from all over the world, this degree of documentation is both essential and somewhat unique.

ISO9001, CSUSA, CC006A - All of these accreditations show the ability of a world class manufacturer (Beijing Electric Motor) to provide a first class product that has undergone extensive testing and accreditation procedures of the highest order to meet the greatest demands in the United States marketplace.
